Meek Mill had some fun over the weekend when he recorded a freestyle over 2Pac’s “Hit ‘Em Up” at the expense of upset San Francisco 49ers fans.
On Sunday (January 29), the Dream Chasers boss posted a video on Instagram poking fun at 49ers fans, who had just seen their team lose the NFC Championship game to his hometown Philadelphia Eagles. The clip showed Meek rapping in a bathroom while the instrumental to ‘Pac’s infamous 1996 diss song played in the background.

“This is for all my 49ers fans right here,” Meek said before diving into his freestyle, during which he took a shot at 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy who got injured during the game.
“First off, fuck your clique and the team you claim/Northside, Southside, this the Eagles game/ Y’all kinda keep it playa but we packed your bag/ Plus the other quarterback y’all couldn’t even pass it back,” he rapped.
The Eagles trashed the 49ers 31-7 in a blowout game that saw San Francisco suffer injuries to three players, changing the course of the match.
Meek Mill took in the game from the suites at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia alongside Lil Baby, James Harden, Kevin Hart and Michael Rubin and others. Once the game was over and the Eagles punched their ticket to the Super Bowl, Meek’s “Dreams and Nightmares” blared through the stadium’s speakers.
The Philly native was so excited about his team securing their fourth Super Bowl berth that he offered to host a free party somewhere in the city and perform “Dreams and Nightmares.” “I will host a free party tonight and perform intro,” he tweeted before adding: “somebody open a club.”
Fellow Philly natives Lil Uzi Vert, Gillie Da Kid and Wallo were also in attendance to watch their team win. Baby Pluto actually walked the team out to his hit single “I Just Wanna Rock,” while Gillie and Wallo celebrated with players on the field.
The Philadelphia Eagles and their star quarterback Jalen Hurts will take on Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs at Super Bowl LVII on February 12 from State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona. Rihanna will headline the halftime show.
The love that Meek Mill has for his city runs deep. He recently joined forces with Kevin Hart and Michael Rubin to put together a massive donation to help low-income students in the Philadelphia area.
According to a press release, the trio’s $7 million donation will be spread across 60 private and parochial schools. The money in part will be used to offer the students scholarships and provide them with at-home tools such as WiFi, laptops, and tablets.

It marked just the latest collaborative effort Meek and Michael Rubin have undergone as part of their commitment to give back to those in need, which has resulted in a total $17 million in donations across previous years.
