Master P has continued his longstanding tradition of spreading holiday cheer to children in his native New Orleans during an event at an area school.

On Wednesday (December 21), the No Limit Records founder posted two videos to Instagram documenting both the shopping trip during which he purchased hundreds of gifts; and the school assembly where an auditorium full of children got to pick Christmas gifts from Master P’s haul.

In the first video, Master P also appeared to bless a few parents who were shopping in the same store by covering the gifts their children had selected. While at the school, the entertainment and business mogul delivered a simple yet motivational message to the kids who had been gathered.

“I love y’all, I want y’all to enjoy yourself for the holidays,” P said. “We got lots of toys for y’all. And we just want y’all to just have fun. Appreciate your teachers, appreciate your parents. Appreciate your counselors, your principals, the people that’s around you in your life that’s helping you. ‘Cause it’s so important. None of you guys owe me nothing, but if somebody make it, keep coming and keep giving back.”

The second clip — which also included shoutouts from members of the school’s faculty thanking Master P for his continued support — saw the children choosing from tables full of toys, footballs, basketballs, and a row of bicycles. The kids were also blessed with boxes of the newly renamed Snoop Cereal.

Just as he tasked the kids with continuing to bless the community once they are in the position to do so, the caption shared with Master P’s second video indicated that he has been staging his Christmas giveaway for over two decades.

“I love seeing smiles on kids faces,” P wrote. “It’s the 24th year & I’m not stopping as long as I’m alive. It’s a blessing to be a blessing. #louisiana”

The wholesome moment comes at the end of a week during which Master P has been embroiled in a public spat with his son, Romeo Miller, which stemmed from Romeo calling out his father for speaking about the recent suicide of DJ Stephen “tWitch” Boss, yet allegedly neglecting his own child’s mental health struggles.

On Sunday (December 18), the elder Miller extended an olive branch to his son following their bitter back-and-forth on social media over the weekend.

“I love my family, my door is always open for my son,” he said in a video posted to Instagram. “And if I’m wrong, forgive me. I’m apologizing to you if I’m wrong. I’m still a work-in-progress, I come from nothing … All you gotta do is pick up the phone and call me or come to the house and holla at me.”

P’s peace offering wasn’t without its criticisms, though, as the 52-year-old rap mogul also called his son ungrateful, accused him of avoiding his calls for “months” and questioned why he hasn’t been able to replicate his success.

In his latest Instagram post aimed at his father on Monday (December 19), Romeo accused the No Limit Records founder of withholding earnings from the potato chip brand Rap Snacks — in which he’s a limited partner — for well over a decade.

According to the younger Miller, he’s only now receiving compensation for his work with the company having been misled by Master P, who he also accused of “trying to gaslight and break” him.

Elsewhere in his message, the former child star clarified that he still has love for his father, but can no longer follow someone who he claims has been blinded by greed and ego.

“None of yall love my father more than me, I know my sister’s passing was a warning, and just like Moses in the Bible, the man that leads the people out, isn’t always allowed to the promised land because of his own ego,” he continued. “Don’t have to be perfect, but I can’t follow someone who’s been blinded.”
