Ludacris has once again put his lyrical prowess on display, delivering a fresh freestyle that hears him brag about both his skills and his earning power.
The Atlanta titan shared the video via Instagram on Thursday (March 23) with a caption that didn’t indicate what fans could expect from the video, but rather simply read: “Live From The Motherland Accra Ghana [Ghanaian flag emoji][fist emoji].”

Kicking the verse off with his signature drop, Luda proceeds to run through a variety of topics including a Virgil Abloh shoutout and a reminder that he gets “paid millions just to hype crowds.”
“Tuck your chain you lookin funny style,” Ludacris raps while rocking a goat piece on a pricey chain of his own. “And all the while one of my earrings cost a hundred thou/ But nowadays I drop the jewelry just to drop some jewels/ I’d rather build with architects than go and shop with fools/ The proper rules get broken provoking marathons/ Lyrics deeper than Jason Statham chasing a megalodon.”
Luda’s been on a run of late, taking multiple opportunities to revive discussions about his skills on the mic.
In January, he took time to make sure people hadn’t forgotten his verse on Nas’ “Made You Look” remix. The DTP founder posted a video after catching wind of fans debating about who came out on top from the heavyweight collaboration between him, Nas and fellow guest MC Jadakiss.

Luda sought to end the argument once and for all by reciting his show-stealing rhymes word for word in an effort to jog the memory of those who may be sleeping on his contribution to the track.
“Man, I picked up my phone today and saw that the Luda fans chose violence and I’m loving every minute of it. So let’s add to the debate online about the ‘Made You Look’ song, the remix, the verses just in case they missed a line or something,” he said before diving into his verse.

The remix to “Made You Look” dropped in 2003 just a few months after the release of the original, which appeared on Nas’ sixth studio album God’s Son. Nas, Ludacris and Jadakiss famously performed the song at the former’s Made You Look: God’s Son Live concert at New York City’s Webster Hall that year.
A couple of weeks after spitting his “Made You Look” verse acapella, Ludacris gave fans a brand new impromptu verse on IG, proclaiming in his caption that, “Dis $hit Startin to feel FUN AGAIN.”
“I’m original, indispensable, rhyme zone/ Skydweller Rolex , fuck a time zone/ My watch feeling like ‘Pac/ It’s all eyez on/ And I’m the truth in the booth/ Get your lies on,” he spits, performing in front of some huge house plants.
Continuing to deliver the type of lyrical acrobatics fans have come to expect from Ludacris, he also makes use of some props, picking up a scotch on the rocks as well as a size 10.5 red Nike Air Force 1, and mentioning both of them in his bars.
