Ludacris has been back on his A-game with freestyles as of late, and he’s continued his run with a new batch of bars to celebrate the 4/20 holiday.
Taking to his Instagram on Thursday (April 20), Luda uploaded a quick freestyle from a tropical setting as palm trees punctuated his backdrop.

“I go by Luda, still smoking buddha/ Never gave a fuck what no hating n-gga said on no computer,” he starts off. “I don’t need no mentions, came from the trenches/ So when I hit it from the back might pull out the weave or her extensions!”
“Happy 4/20,” he added in the caption. “They Love It When I Talk My Shit So They Like Luda POP IT! Sha, Sha, ShaLuda RollCall Freestyle.”
This is the latest in a slew of freestyles Ludacris has put out in recent months. In November, he dropped a “friendly reminder” that he still had it when he went in over Armani White’s “Billie Eilish” beat.
It’s been over seven years since Luda’s last studio album, Ludaversal, but the multi-hyphenate certainly hasn’t been resting on his laurels. Between movies (including the box office juggernaut Fast & Furious franchise), a new toy line, his Netflix children’s show Karma’s World and finishing college, among other things, it’s safe to say the 45-year-old has remained busy.
Later this year, Ludacris will be honored with his own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Though he’s named in the category of motion pictures, the Disturbing Tha Peace founder is one of nine musicians on the list alongside the likes of Charlie Wilson, Lenny Kravitz and Sheila E.
Luda’s late Fast & Furious co-star Paul Walker will also receive a star, as well as Martin Lawrence, Uma Thurman, Vince Vaughn and a few others.

“Hey Momma, Your Son Is Being Selected To Receive a STAR on the Hollywood Walk of Fame In 2023,” Luda wrote on Instagram while celebrating the news back in June. “GOD IS THE GREATEST.”
