Logic’s skills as an MC are undeniable, but the Maryland native has always showcased his talents in other areas — including solving Rubik’s Cubes.

From early on, the 33-year-old made it known that the 3D combination puzzle was a cakewalk for him, often demonstrating how easily he could solve it.

On Wednesday (July 5), Logic announced that he is finally partnering with Rubik’s after years of serving as their unofficial brand ambassador.

“I just wanna say how happy I am to be an ambassador for Rubik’s Cube,” he said in an Instagram video. “I’ve just been such a fan and I’ve had so much love for this incredible little contraption, and I’m so happy to do fun videos and talk about it and connect.”

About why he’s always felt a pull toward it, Logic added: “For somebody like me, who focuses on so many different things constantly, whether it’s, y’know, just business management, tours, merchandise, y’know, writing novels, movies, albums — like it’s a lot, so to be able to just sit here and focus on this … it’s always kinda been there for me.”

It’s funny to hear the Young Sinatra spitter talk about using a Rubik’s Cube to get away from multitasking considering one of his earliest viral videos saw him freestyling off the top while tackling the six-sided challenge. Moreover, he was able to get through it in just a little over two minutes.

This soon became a part of Logic’s brand, as he explained in the above announcement: “It was just crazy seeing fans bringing Rubik’s Cubes to shows and to see fans just be obsessed with whatever I’m obsessed with, like that’s really special.”

He continued: “It’s probably one of the things that I’m most proud of that I’ve ever accomplished, ’cause 95 percent of people don’t solve it, so to be part of the 5 percent is pretty cool.”

In other Logic news, the College Park MC recently sold off a portion of his catalog in a deal with US-based music and rights company Influence Media Partners for an undisclosed eight-figure sum.
