Lloyd Banks has recruited the legendary Method Man for a blazing new track titled “101 Razors” — check it out below.
Unleashed on Friday (March 24), the song finds Banks rhyming alongside Meth with sharp lyricism over smooth production by V Don. The track itself finds the two rappers bragging about their skills on the mic and their superiority over the competition.

“Killer before the shine, I came up that n-gga/ I’m born to rhyme, make more, the corporate line/ These chumps operatin’ on overtime/ This is my quarter, dog, you eat what you slaughter,” Banks raps on the G-Unit-meets-Wu-Tang Clan collaboration.
Method Man comes in with an equally hard verse that asserts his greatness over his peers and newcomers: “Legend be Boris Simon, you? Just a Busta before the Rhyme/ You prima donnas like a virgin Madonna, but borderline/ Bunch of borin’ lines no one fallin’ for, so fall in line.”
“101 Razors” arrives shortly after Lloyd Banks announced his upcoming project, The Course Of The Inevitable 3: Pieces of My Pain. The Queens, New York native posted black-and-white trailer on Instagram while asking fans to help him decide a release date.
The former G-Unit soldier made his long-awaited return in 2021 with his fourth studio album The Course of the Inevitable. He followed that up with the sequel The Course of the Inevitable 2 last year, and now the veteran MC is looking to complete the trilogy in 2023.

COTI 3 isn’t the only new release fans can expect from Blue Hefner. During an interview with HipHopDX last year, Lloyd Banks revealed he has enough material to release an album each year for the next five years.
“I just feel like I’m chasing the ultimate album, you know what I mean?” he said. “So it’s like, I can’t possibly be finished. I also lost more than a few years from just taking hiatuses in the business. In a lot of spots, I’ve might have been expected to have momentum, but I wasn’t in a situation at the time to just drop album after album.”
He continued: “Now, I feel like I’m fully capable of dropping an album for the next five years. At least once a year, if not twice.”
One of those could be a collaborative project with fellow New Yorkers Dave East and Vado. Last month, the latter revealed that the trio — known collectively as The Council — are preparing to release a mixtape with DJ Drama later this year.

“It’s looking like it’s going to drop around probably October, ’cause Banks is about to drop, East is soon about to drop again, I’m bout to drop so the tape is going to be around September-October,” Vado told Still Got Da Juice. “But you know, we also on Banks’ album so you’ll hear us together again.
“We’ll probably give y’all a freestyle just to get the streets warmed up. Shoutouts to DJ Drama. You know he fucking with us, so he going to host it. We working.”
