Lloyd Banks continues his late-career resurgence with the release of his new mixtape Halloween Havoc IV: The 72nd Hour — stream it below.
The former G-Unit member dropped off his latest offering on Tuesday (October 31), just in time for the widely-celebrated holiday of Halloween.

Halloween Havoc IV: The 72nd Hour clocks in at 15 songs and includes production from some of his closest collaborators, including George Gentson, Cartune Beatz, Haas Almadhi and Mr. Authentic, to name a few.
There are only two guest features on the project courtesy of fellow New Yorker Vado and Sy Ari da Kid (the latter of whom moved to Atlanta as a kid).
Lloyd Banks first announced Halloween Havoc IV: The 72nd Hour just a couple of weeks ago, sparking excitement among his loyal fanbase. He later shared a spooky, cinematic trailer that felt inspired by The Purge.
His first Halloween Havoc mixtape landed in 2008, with parts two and three arriving arriving in 2015 and 2016, respectively.

Prior to this latest installment, Banks made his long-awaited return to music in 2021 with his fourth studio album The Course of the Inevitable, jump-starting another beloved series in his catalog.
He followed that up with the sequel The Course of the Inevitable 2 last year, and The Course of the Inevitable 3 this past May.
Putting out so many acclaimed projects in recent years has evidently bolstered Banks’ self-confidence as he recently declared that he’s the best rapper alive right now.
Earlier this month, the 41-year-old responded to a pair of tweets that referred to his brilliance in the past tense, saying that nothing has changed and that he is still on top of the game.

“There was a point in time that @Lloydbanks was the greatest rapper walking the earth,” one fan wrote, to which the self-proclaimed Punchline King replied: “Appreciate that, who’s the greatest now?”
When the same person replied that Banks was “special” during G-Unit’s acclaimed mixtape run and that nobody was out-rapping him, Banks countered with: “Ain’t nobody out rapping me now.”
