New York, NY -

Lil Uzi Vert has ramped up the rollout for their new album Eternal Atake 2 by taking over the New York City skies with a UFO.

A promotional video for the album’s release has gone viral, with fans amazed at the sight of an alien spaceship flying over the Big Apple.

It has not been revealed how the stunt was achieved but it was likely through the use of holograms.

If it wasn’t clear already, Eternal Atake 2 has a strong sci-fi theme.

Lil Uzi Vert released the artwork for the album last week, with it depicting a group of purple women with their eyes lit up pink, à la Five Nights at Freddy’s.

A cinematic trailer for the album was also released, opening with a shot of Earth from outer space.

The video then explains: “On March 6, 2020, Lil Uzi Vert mysteriously vanished. While it was never confirmed what happened that day, the faithful believed it to be the fulfillment of a long awaited prophecy.”

The camera then cuts to a UFO that teleports through an Eternal Atake 2 logo and lands on a futuristic space station, where Uzi has their memory wiped by purple-eyed aliens.

The trailer ends by saying Eternal Atake 2, which will serve as the sequel to his chart-topping 2020 effort, is “coming soon.”

This appears to be sooner than fans might have expected as the album is set to arrive on Friday (November 1), according to its pre-release listing on Apple Music.

Lil Uzi Vert has already dropped what appears to be the first song from Eternal Atake 2, “Uzi the Earthling! (TV Show Theme).”

The short, sitcom-inspired track only features vocals from a female singer who performs the lyrics: “Here’s the story of a guy named Uzi / Who’s known for his diamonds and his style / From the streets to the stage, boy is busy / Making music that’ll make you smile / Little Uzi Vert, he’s the one to see / Bringing joy to you and me.”

The Philadelphia rapper previously announced that they would retire from music following the release of Luv Is Rage 3, which many assumed would be their next album.
