The tour marks Baby Pluto’s first headlining trek in five years following 2018’s Endless Summer Tour. The COVID-19 pandemic prevented them from taking their previous album, 2020’s Eternal Take, on the road.
Tickets for the Pink Tape Tour go on sale to the general public on Friday (July 7) at 2 p.m. local time via Ticketmaster.
Pink Tape finally arrived on June 30 following lengthy delays and fervent anticipation. Lil Uzi Vert rewarded their fans’ patience by delivering 26 new songs, including collaborations with Nicki Minaj, Travis Scott and Don Toliver.
The album looks likely to end Hip Hop’s chart struggles in 2023 as it’s slated to become the first rap album to top the Billboard 200 this year. Projections suggest the project will earn around 165,000 units in its first week, according to HITS Daily Double.
Nicki recently took to Twitter to detail the grueling recording process behind her guest verse on “Endless Fashion,” revealing she toiled over her bars for 10 hours to ensure she made the deadline for the album.
“Girl I started @ 8am & finished like 5pm. When I tell you I was exhausted by the time I was done. Lol. B/c I was rushing to get it in on time,” she wrote in response to Uzi’s girlfriend, JT, who had applauded her for “how fast you turned your verse in.”
