Lil Uzi Vert is one of Nardwuar’s most viral interviews to date, and now the pair have linked up again after nearly five years since the last time they spoke.
Released on Wednesday (June 28) to Nardwaur’s official YouTube channel, the Candian reporter caught up with Uzi after their set at Lyrical Lemonade’s Summer Smash. The reunion seemed to be a heartwarming moment for them both.

As expected, Nardwuar handed Lil Uzi Vert all sorts of gifts, including a vintage break-dancing magazine, fan-made art, and more. The Philly rapper couldn’t be more overjoyed, especially after he suggested that Uzi come to visit them up north.
However, Uzi had a better solution and offered to host the journalist at their home and teach him about Call Of Duty. “You could just come to my house and have dinner,” Uzi said. “…I’ll give you my number, and then I can teach you how to play Call Of Duty.”
The video ended similar to their 2018 interview, with the rapper hilariously fleeing from the scene — check it out below.
During the aforementioned interview, Lil Uzi Vert famously ran from The Human Serviette for knowing “too much” about him.
The awkward conversation started out on a good note but took a turn when Uzi went on a tangent about ecstasy. The interview took another hard left when Nardwuar presented Uzi with a Rob Zombie poster.

“I’m glad I’m a good guy because if I was under investigation for something, I’d be scared right now,” Uzi said in response.
The final straw came when Nardwuar brought up Guns Garcia, prompting Uzi to declare, “he know too much.” Soon after, the multi-platinum artist made a beeline for the door and ran from Nardwuar.
Nardwuar eventually caught up with Uzi, who had a getaway car ready to exit the scene. Despite the abrupt end, Uzi still participated in The Human Serviette’s closing catchphrase to cap off the interview in a proper fashion.
On the music front, Lil Uzi Vert will finally release their Pink Tape album on Friday (June 30). The project clocks in at 26 tracks — including the previously released “Just Wanna Rock.”

While no features are confirmed, Uzi previously hinted at a Playboi Carti feature through their Instagram Story. Prior to that, the rapper’s producer said that Travis Scott will appear on the project.
