Lil Uzi Vert has fans worried about their wellbeing after posting a photo on social media of a bottle filled with what looks to be purple drank.

The Philadelphia rapper took to their Instagram Story earlier this week to once again tease their forthcoming Barter 16 project, posting an image featuring the caption: “B16” and a snake emoji — a nod to the Barter originator Young Thug (who himself cribbed the name of his mixtape series from Lil Wayne).

However, it was what was next to the caption that caught fans’ attention: a plastic bottle containing purple liquid. Akademiks reposted Uzi’s IG Story on his own Instagram page on Thursday (July 13), and fans had plenty to say about it considering the rapper recently revealed they spent time in rehab and even named a song on their latest album Pink Tape “Rehab.”

“Bro put a track out called rehab just to lie,” one person wrote in the comments section, while another chimed in: “Lmao he still sipping lean. Thought we left that in the past… Only doing shrooms the rest of 23′.”

One fan even put Uzi on blast for “advertising the wrong shit to these kids.”

Check out the post below:

Last month, Lil Uzi Vert opened up to 032c magazine about their time in the treatment facility, explaining how they initially doubted the effectiveness of rehab but came away a better person.

“I’m lucky to have people in my life who truly care about me and my well-being. Specifically, Desiree Perez, who helped me get into this program,” they said, referring to the CEO and co-founder of JAY-Z’s Roc Nation. “I didn’t want to do it, but I had to — and I can say now that it was a great thing to do.”

Uzi also spoke about the different techniques deployed in rehab and how they became close with other people who were seeking treatment.

“I spent seven months in rehab. The first month and a half were hard, but after that, it was easy, because the people there became my family,” they added. “They showed me so many different outlets and ways to cope with life. We did a lot of group talks, a lot of writing on whiteboards.”

“Rehab” the song, meanwhile, found Uzi getting candid about their experience in the rehab facility.

“It felt like a whole week in just one day/ They checked on me, um, every forty-five minutes/ I thought that they was just tryna be in my business/ Everyone is equal here, they don’t care about riches/ I’m gonna die in here, I had that feeling,” they rapped.

In addition to Barter 16, Lil Uzi has also been teasing fans with the third installment in their decorated Luv Is Rage series.

During a gaming live streaming earlier this month, the “Just Wanna Rock” hitmaker revealed they’re “gonna drop a whole ‘nother album” instead of a Pink Tape deluxe, before promising on social media to “drop the album y’all really looking for” if their aforementioned LP went to No. 1 (which it did, becoming the first rap album of the year to top the Billboard 200).

Ramping up the anticipation further, Uzi later added “Luv is rage 3” and “Barter 16” to their Instagram bio, although concrete details on both projects remain scarce.
