Skies allegedly sped away in his vehicle after the collision without exchanging information with the person in the other car.

According to inmate records from Franklin County Jail, the 25-year-old has since been released from custody, Lthough the conditions of his bail and the status of his case currently remain unknown.

Skies has yet to publicly comment on the incident.

The Soundcloud star, who rose to fame in 2017, previously opened up about his aversion to drugs, particularly lean and Xanax.

“I’m not against people that do that shit, [but] to me, it’s just not a way of life,” he told French outlet Rap Fire Officiel. “I don’t want to ever rely on something [like that]. I’m scared, I’m not going to sit here and act like I want to do drugs. I know I’ma have a bad trip so that’s why I won’t do it.”

He added: “I’m the type of person — my mind is too strong, I think too hard. I’m not going to put myself in that situation where I can get fucked up. But I’ve seen drugs really badly fuck up my friends, got some of my friends locked up for life. It’s not for me.”

Despite his previous criticism of drug use, Skies later put on a virtual concert in celebration of 4/20.
