Lil Scrappy has delivered sound words in the name of mental health for young men seeking guidance on social media.
On Friday (September 15), the Atlanta rapper made a call to action on social media, encouraging men to seek help in the midst of mental anguish — sooner rather than later, while touching on his personal experience.

“All my men right here. All my men. Talking to the men. Talking to the men. Let’s work on getting some help like talking to somebody,” he began before highlighting the double standard he believes men face on social media when speaking their truth.
“I can tell social media ain’t made for men to speak their truth — ain’t made for men to do none of that. That’s for women,” he continued.
“When men speak their truth on here — we crying or shut up — why ya’ll coming on here doing that? But when women do it, it be like okay. You know what I’m saying? Because it’s a place that all women be on — women be on social media like 30,000 a day. You know what I’m saying? That’s their life. Some of them. Not all of them.”

The 39-year-old went on to caution viewers on where they receive advice explaining not everyone is looking out for your best interest.
“But, at the end of the day for men when you begin talking and shit I think we should go straight to get some help. ‘Cause I had to do that too. Ya’ll go get some help. Talk to somebody else. Don’t talk to these people because they can’t help you, can’t do nothing for you but speak their opinion and some of their opinions are wrong as fuck,” he concluded.
The word comes shortly after Lil Scrappy was seen celebrating his split from ex-wife and Love & Hip Hop co-star, Bambi, in July.
To commemorate his divorce the “Money in the Bank” rhymer threw a huge bash dubbed the “Back Outside Divorce Party.”

“Man look with all the lies and evilness thrown on me I think it’s safe to say I need to go up and release and just enjoy life,” Scrappy said at the time, alongside a flyer to promote the event via Instagram. “I showed y’all how I am married I was coo for a long time now imma show y’all outside scrappy, like my pops said why do we celebrate birth and death but we dnt celebrate separation from something that wasn’t for you?”
He continued: “Hey no more stress and anger and lies pull up if u inna A the whole city coming out.”
On the MTV season premiere of LHHATL, the pair fought over Crime Mob rapper Diamond after Bambi found out Scrappy was linking up with the rapper behind her back. For his part, Scrappy said his wife didn’t offer the support he needed as a man and husband.
“I feel like, as a wife, you should always make your husband feel like he’s ‘that guy.’ I wasn’t getting that from Bam, and, I mean, it’s got to come from somewhere else,” he said on the show.
