Lil Reese has paid tribute to Boosie Badazz after the rapper’s rape case was dismissed by the court.

Reese broke the news on social media, celebrating that the case will not be going forward after he previously denied the allegations.

He wrote on X (formerly Twitter): “So today was my first court date for the false ass shit that bitch said I did and guess what case dismiss I wanna see they post and put this all around like they did when they said I rapped [sic] a lien bitch.”

Reese then appeared to show proof on Instagram of the case being dismissed as he posted a picture of his proof of appearance form from Los Angeles County Court though nobody from the police of District Attorney’s office has commented on the legal proceedings or why the case was dropped.

After flaunting his release, Reese gave a shout out to Boosie Badazz for having his back during the last month while the proceedings have played out.

He said on Instagram: “S/o to @torenchatchig boosie you first n-gga knew I was innocent when it happen I get bitch ass fuck I gotta take some for [crying emoji].”

Reese was arrested in mid July after a woman reported him to police, accusing the rapper of rape after they went on a date in Los Angeles.

According to the police, the woman rejected his advances before Reese forced himself on her and raped her in a hotel room.

The alleged victim then went down to the lobby of the hotel and notified police in the early hours of Sunday (July 14).

Shortly afterwards, Reese was arrested while still at the hotel on suspicion of sexual assault and rape.

The 31-year-old was released on a $100,000 bond.

On Instagram, he strongly denied sexually assaulting the woman: “On my sister Ree Ree the whole story cap and made up fuc I look like this ain’t that I know better and the same way ya’ll posting that shi make sure ya’ll post the case get thrown out on my court date they do anything for clout and tryna come up try again.”
