His projected release date is currently February 6, 2029, but he will become eligible for parole in August 2026.

The conviction, listed as aggravated assault of a family member, relates to an incident that occured on March 9, 2022, police records show.

While details of the attack are unclear, it was reported at the time that Reese was arrested almost two months later in May of that year and held on a $60,000 bond.

The 31-year-old has faced a number of legal troubles since then, most recently getting arrested this past September for allegedly punching and strangling his ex-girlfriend at a strip club in Houston.

Authorities say that Reese attempted to kiss the woman numerous times at around 6:30 a.m. one morning as he was entering the club and she was leaving.

When she rejected his advances, Reese allegedly then became violent, punching her in the face and squeezing his hands around her neck.

The woman told police that she was “gasping for air” and in fear of her life during the incident and that there were witnesses to the attack, including those that broke it up.

The woman and Lil Reese reportedly dated for around two months before their relationship ended weeks earlier.

After police became involved and observed the woman’s injuries, a warrant was issued for Reese’s arrest. He was later taken into custody on September 29 and held without bond.

Weeks earlier, the Supa Savage spitter, was accused of raping a woman, though that case was dismissed by a judge.

He wrote on X (formerly Twitter) at the time: “So today was my first court date for the false ass shit that bitch said I did and guess what case dismiss I wanna see they post and put this all around like they did when they said I rapped [sic] a lien bitch.”

Reese then appeared to prove that the case had been dismissed by posting a picture on Instagram of his proof of appearance form from Los Angeles County Court, though nobody from the District Attorney’s office commented on the legal proceedings or why the case was dropped.
