Lil Nas X has dropped a new single, stoking the excitement surrounding his upcoming NASARATI 2 album.

On Wednesday (April 24), the 25-year-old rapper and singer released “Trust Me” exclusively on SoundCloud after teasing it last month. While the track is available on YouTube, it has yet to be released via audio-streaming giants such as Spotify, Apple Music and Tidal.

Produced by Ojivolta and Omer Fedi, it features the Georgia native keeping his brand of rap intact with bars about his sexuality like: “Grindr sessions sextin’ with faceless accounts/ Bringin’ bodies in me, then sneaking them out/ Back in middle school, I was fiending for dick/ 7th grade, sending my homies some pics/ Daddy never knew what I did as a kid.”

As of now, it isn’t clear if the song will make it on the new album or onto the other DSPs. Listen to it below:

SoundCloud has been central to Lil Nas X’s ongoing rollout, as even his last single was released exclusively on said platform. Earlier this month, he finally released “RIGHT THERE” after previewing it back in February.

Always in character, the cut features him rapping: “I need a n-gga with loose-lick hips/ I need a model with some big, fake lips/ I just did X in the bathroom stall/ On a B-list star, gettin’ my A-list round/ I’m JK like I’m next to LM/ I’m so drunk that my shit went limp, ayy, ayy, uh/ Pour me some Henny’/ To tell you the truth, n-gga, I’m Papoose, I’ma need my Rеmy [Ma].”

Prior to that, the MONTERO hitmaker caught fans off guard when he debuted a crisp and clean new look.

Taking to Instagram in late March, the “Industry Baby” hitmaker showed off his fresh cut, having reduced the longer strands down to a low fade.
