Lil Durk has made his acting debut in the latest episode of Power Book II: Ghost, drawing comparison’s to Yung Miami’s turn on BMF last year.
A fan captured a scene from episode 9 of the series’ fourth and final season and shared it to X (formerly Twitter) just moments after it premiered on Friday (September 27). In it, Durk appears alongside a number of series regulars as a party guest with a few lines of dialogue.

The clip was captioned: “God bless Lil Durk but this n-gga cant act to save his life [three crying laughing emojis] #PowerGhost.”
However, the post was met by multiple replies from others who gave him credit for doing better than both Yung Miami in her cameo appearance on 50 Cent’s other uber popular series; with Lil Baby catching a few strays for his turn on the series as well.

“Alr relax you acting like this was Yung Miami bmf acting type bad, he did as expected,” reads one reply to the original comment. Another person commented, “He acted better than yung mami and lil baby nem tho.”
The Shade Room‘s post of the same clip on Instagram garnered similar comments, including: “Ngl he did better than baby and yung Miami” and “He did better than Caresha did on BMF.”

Overall, the comments about Lil Durk’s performance were mostly supportive, with his longtime girlfriend India Royale adding, “It’s giving Denzel. Idk.”

As of this writing, Lil Durk had not commented on the feedback to his performance, unlike Yung Miami, who promptly responded to the trolling.
In March 2023, The City Girls rapper played the role of Deanna Washington, who at one point in the BMF episode was informed by Big Meech’s character about the death of her husband.

Critics on Twitter have torn apart what was meant to be a gut-wrenching moment, as Yung Miami’s fake crying became a source of hilarity for many viewers. “Caresha had me screaming on BMF last night,” wrote one user. “She’s mad funny.”
Miami saw the tweet and replied with a side eye emoji, writing: “It wasn’t funny lol.”
Regardless of Yung Miami’s statement, the trolling continued.
“Yung Miami need to stick to caresha please CAUSE CARESHA PLSSSS,” wrote one user, while another added: “Caresha please get acting lessons.”

One user went as far as to directly quote Miami herself from the show. “Meech where’s my husband,” the user wrote along with numerous laughing emoji’s. “Caresha please.”
