Latto and Cardi B have teamed up for a remix of the former’s new single “Put It On Da Floor” and the rowdy video features cameos from Offset and LSU Women’s Basketball player Angel Reese.
The new remix, titled “Put It On Da Floor Again,” arrives after Latto teased the collab on Thursday (June 1), with the video following the Atlanta rapper as she dominates an unruly “Bitch Party” and causes mischief in a grocery store.

The duo also went on Instagram Live on Thursday night to preview the track and celebrate their first official collab together.
In Cardi’s verse, the Bronx-bred rhymer flexes on her critics, and says she’s always “doing the most” and for good reason.
“I ain’t smokin’ on no za’, lil’ bitch, I’m smokin’ on you/ Put your bestie in a pack and now I’m smokin’ her too/ I been ballin’ so damn hard, could’ve went to LSU, huh/ Got so many chains on, I can’t even see my throat,” she raps.
Latto had previously dropped off the original version of the track last month, which caused a brief back and forth to ensue between the “Big Energy” star and Coi Leray, who didn’t appreciate being mentioned by name in the song.
The lyric goes: “Smokin’ on that gas, blunt big as Coi Leray.”
“Maybe I over reacted idk,” Leray wrote on Instagram at the time. “End of the day. Don’t say my name for clicks and likes. Specially if we don’t speak or communicate. I’m not a big blunt small blunt. Don’t compare me to nada. Mention bitches you actually beef with. Put it on Da floor but leave me out of the bs.”

The pair eventually buried the hatchet, with Latto going so far as to shout out Coi during her Coachella set.
However, fans also speculated Latto takes shots at Nicki Minaj in the song when she raps: “Bitches acting like they running shit, they really ran through” and “She thought I would kiss her ass, she mustn’t have took her meds.” Neither Latto nor Nicki have responded to the speculation.
While the new song serves as the first official collab between Latto and Cardi B, the pair have always had mutual respect for each other, with Latto once citing an old Cardi performance as the sole inspiration behind her live shows.
“I did Rolling Loud Miami in 2018-ish…I was one of the openers,” Latto said in a 2022 interview with Audacy. “It was 3 p.m. hot as hell and I waited all the way to the end for Cardi B to perform and I stuck around in the hot sun and I was like, ‘Nah, I gotta see Cardi perform,’ and I just seen her like put on a show. Like, it was actual entertainment. Dancers, choreography.”

She continued: “She really had me entertained to where I wasn’t caring about the heat or standing on my feet all day. I was entertained. So I took that and ran with it like, ‘You know what? I wanna put on a show too.'”
