Kid Cudi and Trippie Redd are among the many social media users to jump on the trend of trying the McDonald’s Grimace Shake and suffering its consequences.
The burger giant recently released a new berry-flavored milkshake to celebrate the 52nd birthday of Grimace, a popular McDonaldland character. Following a horror-themed TikTok trend that shows people getting abducted, tortured and brutalized after consuming the drink, several public figures got in on the joke.

On Sunday (June 2), Mr. Solo Dolo tweeted: “ Got the grimace shake the other day…/ Had poopy pants for 24hrs.”
A day later, Trippie Redd posted a video of him tasting the shake for the first time. Sitting in his car, he said: “What’s going down? I’m Trippie Redd and I’m trying this — what’s it called — the Grimace Shake? Yeah, the Grimace Shake. Anyway, happy birthday, Grimace.”
After taking a sip, he said: “Ahhh man, they capp—” The shot then cuts to him supposedly having a seizure on the floor with purple foam oozing out of his mouth. Check out the posts below.
On a more serious note, Cudi recently canceled his Moon Man’s Landing Festival. Though fans were disappointed, the rapper revealed he had something special in store for them instead.
In a lengthy Twitter post, the Cleveland native claimed the city didn’t approve his request for an outside venue, resulting in him scrapping the highly-anticipated event.
On the other hand, he noted that he didn’t want to abandon the idea entirely and made plans to hold the event in a local arena.
Unfortunately, details about the new show have yet to be released, but the Entergalatic rapper then declared he had some “good news” for fans, announcing next year’s event will certainly be outside — although, it might have to be slightly past Cleveland.

“Instead of cancelling the whole thing, I decided to have it at the arena because I still wanted to bring something cool to the city, but I knew you guys weren’t feeling it,” he wrote. “Don’t even trip !! Here’s the good news. Im bringing back the fest next year hopefully w some of the same lineup and it will be an outdoor venue.”
