Trap is a mystery thriller that “follows a father and teen daughter attending a pop concert, where they realize they’re at the center of a dark and sinister event.”
Hartnett isn’t Kid Cudi’s only old friend who is involved with the movie. The rapper’s longtime producer Dot Da Genius also revealed that he helped compose the score for the film.
Cudi and M. Night Shyamalan’s relationship also runs deep. Back in February, the famed director gifted Cudi a series of hardcover scripts of some of his most popular films for his 40th birthday.
“This is unreal. My brother and mentor M. Night @mnight blessed me w some wonderful gifts for my bday,” Cudder wrote on Instagram. “Full hard cover scripts of Signs, Lady in the Water, and The Village. All signed w a message from the man himself.
