Kendrick Lamar has seen accusations that he works with ā€œghostwritersā€ resurface online after a reference track by Baby Keem was leaked.

Fans have been pointing out K. Dotā€™s comments in a 2017 Rolling Stone article, and his opinions on ghostwriting. When asked how he feels about ghostwriters for rappers, the Compton native gave a non-committal answer.

ā€œIt depends on what arena youā€™re putting yourself in. I called myself the best rapper. I cannot call myself the best rapper if I have a ghostwriter,ā€ he said in the cover interview. ā€œIf youā€™re saying youā€™re a different type of artist and you donā€™t really care about the art form of being the best rapper, then so be it. Make great music. But the title, it wonā€™t be there.ā€

But on Sunday (June 2), fans noticed that there was a reference track of Keemā€™s called ā€œBulliesā€ that leaked online, which allegedly refuted Drakeā€˜s bar in ā€œFamily Mattersā€ about ā€œK Dot shit is only hittin hard when Baby Keem put his pen to it.ā€

Drakeā€™s insinuation that Baby Keem might be Kendrickā€™s secret weapon were made on the same song in which the Toronto native claimed to have fed Kendrick fake information.ā€

ā€œWe plotted for a week, and then we fed you theinformation,ā€ he rapped. ā€œA daughter thatā€™s 11 years old, I bet he takes it/ We thought about givinā€™ a fake name or a destination/ But you so thirsty, you not concerned with investigation.

ā€œInstead you in that Venice studio, itā€™s a celebration/ You gotta learn to fact-check things and be less impatient/ Your/ fans are rejoicinā€™, thinkinā€™ this is my expiration/ Even the picture you used, the jokes and the medication/ The Maybach glove and the drug he use is for less inflation/ Master manipulator, you bit on the speculation.ā€

But speaking on his Rumble channel, Akademiks ā€” who has been in regular contact with DrizzyĀ throughout his feud with Kendrick and even premiered numerous diss songs ā€” appeared to turn on the 6 God by sharing some insider information.

The media personality said of the artwork for K. Dotā€™s ā€œMeet the Grahams,ā€ which featured several items allegedly belonging to Drake including Ozempic pills: ā€œI think Drake knew these things were stolen. It does look like some stolen shit.ā€

Ak added: ā€œDrake did know that they were stolen so I donā€™t know if heā€™s trying to reverse psychology it. When Drake said he set it up, Iā€™m taking that to be the 11-year-old daughter thing,ā€ he continued, referencing Kendrickā€™s claim that the Toronto native secretly fathered a daughter.
