The post reads: “Ye’s concert at Saqqara Pyramids is postponed. The anticipated hi-fidelty audio experience taking place in the Step Pyramid of Djoser, Saqqara, has been postponed, along with other Ye tour dates in April, upon Ye’s team’s request. This listening experience remains scheduled to take place in Saqqara during 2024. The new date will be announced soon.”
The post continues that fans can either request refunds or hold onto their tickets for the unannounced date in the future.Check out the full post below.
Fans in the comments were less than enthused. One user wrote: “Naah This is not acceptable like I already bought a flight ticket and I booked a hotel so it’s really not acceptable.”
Another added: “Thank god I only paid 420$ on a flight, FML.” A third shared: “Can y’all call @egyptair and tell ’em the LP is postponed.”

The announcement comes at a precarious time for the state of the Vultures listening experience.
Last month, the duo announced shows in Tennessee, Pennsylvania, Washington DC, North Carolina and Florida. Weeks later, the shows were canceled and removed from Ye’s Ticketmaster page. Some of the venues he was set to appear at even announced that they would no longer be hosting the event.

The Ticketmaster page now lists zero dates, instead sharing the following message: “We’re sorry, but we couldn’t find any events. Try updating your location and date range, or use more general keywords.” This correlates with the Venture Lifestyle post, which said all April dates were cancelled.
Whereas the PPG Paints Arena (Pittsburgh), Capital One Arena (Washington, DC), Spectrum Center (Charlotte) and Bridgestone Arena (Nashville) removed the event from their websites, the Amalie Arena in Tampa and Amerant Bank Arena in Fort Lauderdale shared messages about the cancellation.

“We regret to report that due to the time constraints for Ye and Ty Dolla $ign to curate production and meet logistic requirements, the upcoming dates for the VULTURES 1&2 listening experience will need to be revisited at a later date,” both venues posted.
The Charlotte website Clture reported that a Spectrum Center representative told them the Charlotte show was “officially” no longer happening.
Even an attempt from Ye to put on a show gratis ended up not working out. Last month, the rapper’s request to perform a free show for his fans in Brazil was firmly denied by the country’s government.
West had been looking to embark on a world tour that would take him as far as Australia and the Middle East, but promoters and venues were reluctant to deal with the controversial rapper.

According to The U.S. Sun, West was hoping to perform in Brazil, specifically a free concert on Rio De Janiero’s famous Copacabana beach, recreating a moment created by the Rolling Stones in 2006.
However, Brazilian authorities turned down Kanye’s application for a concert because of his “controversial” image and recent antisemitic comments.
