Kanye West Sends Love To Migos Following Takeoff’s Death

Kanye West has sent his condolences to the Migos following the death of Takeoff earlier this week.

Ye headed to Twitter on Thursday (November 3) to show love to the Atlanta trio. In the midst of his tweets firing back at critics, Kanye posted a photo from the Donda 2 listening party in Miami where he hit the stage with Migos draped in all-black threads.

“LOVE FOREVER,” he wrote, before adding in a separate tweet: “FAMILY.”

Migos were featured on Donda 2‘s “We Did It Kid” alongside Baby Keem, but the album never made its way to streaming services.

In one of his final interviews last month, Takeoff publicly showed support for Kanye West and made a declaration for the world to stop messing with him. “Shout-out to Ye,” he told Billboard. “You hear me, y’all stop f–king with my boy.”

Takeoff was tragically gunned down at 810 Billiards and Bowling in downtown Houston in the early hours of Tuesday (November 1). He was 28 years old.

The Harris County Medical Examiner listed his cause of death as “penetrating gunshot wounds of head and torso into arm.”

In a clip obtained by TMZ, Quavo can be seen and heard arguing with someone outside the Houston bowling alley. Takeoff can be seen standing just a few feet away from the tense exchange, which seemingly centered around basketball. Quavo, who was reportedly playing dice at the time, can be heard saying: “Man, I don’t care about no basketball, bruh … Don’t play like that, bruh.”

Moments later, a physical altercation breaks out, followed by gunfire. Over 10 shots were fired, with TMZ speculating they came from more than one weapon.

Offset is yet to publicly speak out about the loss of his Migos running mate, however, he did make a small tribute by switching his Instagram profile picture to a photo of the late Takeoff.
