Kanye West has reportedly shown support for Diddy and R. Kelly, despite their alleged sex crimes.

Ye held a party celebrating the release of his and Ty Dolla $ign‘s Vultures 2 album in Los Angeles on Sunday (August 11) where he was seen commandeering the music via an aux cord.

The Chicago rap legend played an eclectic mix of songs during his impromptu DJ set, ranging from Prince, Eurythmics and The Eagles to classic tracks from JAY-Z and himself.

The most interesting selections, however, were tracks from Diddy and R. Kelly which Kanye played consecutively, according to producer Mike Hector who was in attendance.

“I’m at this party and kanye djing. he played 2 diddy songs and then a r kelly song right after. this n-gga do not give a fuck,” tweeted Hector, who also posted a clip of Kanye DJing on his Instagram Stories.

Kanye recently made reference to both R. Kelly and Diddy on his Vultures 1 hit “Carnival,” which ended up topping the Billboard Hot 100.

He rapped: “Anybody pissed off, gotta make ’em drink the urine / Now I’m Ye-Kelly, bitch, now, I’m Bill Cosby, bitch / Now, I’m Puff Daddy rich, that’s #MeToo me rich.”

In the past, Ye has been accused of defending Kelly, as well as Michael Jackson who had also battled accusations of child sex abuse before his death.

“Everybody, they want the art from the artist, but anytime they do anything erratic, they just gonna pull up full documentaries on ’em. And then they gonna come with the Michael [Jackson] documentary,” he said during a Sunday Service performance in 2019.

“We can enjoy all their music all we want. I thought I wasn’t going to go there today but uh … If we gon’ tear down artists, let’s go ahead and take [Leonardo] da Vinci out the Louvre while we at it. Let’s take down all the art.”

Kanye was quickly defended by his then-wife Kim Kardashian who said: “I’m going to nip this in the bud right now. Kanye was speaking about his own experience of everyone quick to say they are cancelling him because of differences in opinion & not being perfect. The analogies were in context to his own experiences, not defending anyone else.”

She added: “I want to make it very clear, he is not condoning anyone’s actions or unacceptable disgusting behavior. My husband’s words are being taken out of context due to timing.

Meanwhile, Kanye’s relationship with Diddy has become fractured in recent years after the G.O.O.D. Music founder accused the Bad Boy boss of being a “fed.”

During an explosive Drink Champs interview in 2022 following his antisemitism and “White Lives Matter” controversy, Ye said: “As far as Meek Mill, Puff Daddy, whoever — none of these n-ggas… All you fake-hard n-ggas, fuck you! ‘Cause you can’t shoot nobody anyway and the reason why you gotta talk is ’cause you did a deal, you fucking fed.

“That’s why you gotta come at me ’cause part of the deal for you to be able to do all that da-da-da-da-da and get out of jail is that you promised you gon’ go pull my card. Y’all n-ggas shut the fuck up about me.”
