Juvenile’s son has spoken out just days after reportedly being shot, reassuring his friends and followers that he’s doing okay.

Young Juve, the son of the former Cash Money rapper who is an artist himself, appeared to have a close brush with death earlier this week when reports suggested he was shot in the face while in a car.

A video of the alleged aftermath showed his vehicle riddled with bullet holes and at least two of its windows smashed. “N-ggas sprayed the fucking whip, huh,” a voice can be heard in the clip while assessing the damage.

Juve seemingly referenced the shooting in an Instagram post on Monday (May 15), sharing a photo of himself sporting a bandage on his cheek.

“Gangstas fuck up all the time and bitch sneak around bullets hit car rule #1 don’t put yo head down #killuminati,” he wrote in the caption.

Young Juve also addressed the scary incident in a comment on Spade TV‘s below Instagram post, letting people know that he’s in good spirits.

“I’m Gucci,” he wrote along with a flexed bicep emoji.

The St. Louis-born, New Orleans-raised rapper also responded to an Instagram user who suggested that Uncle Murda’s “Hard to Kill” should be his new anthem.

“Hell naw,” he wrote. “I’m not even bout to play wit the universe like that Imma just appreciate the blessed and keep steppin.”

Sadly, this isn’t the first time Juvenile’s family has been targeted by shooters. In 2008, the Louisiana rap legend’s daughter Jelani was gunned down at the tender age of four along with her mother, Gwinnett County sheriff’s deputy Joy Deleston, and half-sister, Micaiah.

Deleston’s son, Anthony Tyrone Terrell Jr., was alleged to have killed the trio after getting into an argument with his mother. According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Terrell Jr., who was just 17 at the time, pleaded guilty to murder charges and was given two consecutive life sentences.
