Justin Timberlake has finally acquired a pair of sneakers that he has been eyeing since their release almost a decade ago.
In a new episode of Complex’s Sneaker Shopping series that was published on Monday (March 11), the superstar visited Flight Club in Los Angeles, California and talked about his taste in shoes while picking multiple items off the racks. One design in particular, however, had him more excited than the rest.
“I don’t see them here, and you know it’s a unicorn pair that I’ve never really got a chance to purchase … You got the Red Octobers?” he asked the retail assistant, who confirmed that the store did indeed have them in his size of 10 ½.
By the time the NYSYNC singer reached the checkout counter, he had a pile of shoes in his cart that totaled to a whopping $22,408.14.

Justin Timberlake isn’t the only one with an appreciation for Kanye West’s shoe design with the athletic apparel corporation.
Last month, Rick Ross shouted out the Yeezy boss for his contributions to the fashion world while reflecting on the impact of the mogul’s first blockbuster in the footwear circuit in the mid-2010s.
In late February, Rozay attended a sneaker convention organized by Got Sole in Miami, Florida. During the event, he was asked about Ye’s Nike Air Yeezy 2 “Red October” shoes, which were released back in 2014.

“This shit right here was revolutionary,” he said while holding up a pair. “Well, you know, these joints — the grey ones with the […] guava, the pink or whatever you want to call them — they were just … I had ’em, I wore ’em every day.
“You realize how genius the artwork was after the fact. Y’know that was the time Kanye was at Def Jam, I was at Def Jam.”
