“Sorry I’ve had to cancel my last 2 shows off this tour, Seattle and New York,” he wrote. “Everyone will be refunded. I been pushing my voice for the last 4 shows and fighting thru losing my voice. The last few shows my doctor gave me steroid shots in my throat so i can perform. Today my voice is completely gone.

“I am in no condition to finish the last 2 shows which sucks because they are both sold out. I have to put my health first, but I promise I will be back and will make it up to you. Thank you to all the fans who came to all the shows [heart and prayer emojis] this was a TOUR to remember.”

The trek is set to conclude on June 22 in Joyner Lucas’ home state of Massachusetts with ‘Joyner Fest,’ a concert that will also include the likes of Fridayy, Conway The Machine, Rotimi, Millyz and more.

Joyner recently celebrated the release of his second album Not Now I’m Busy which features guest appearances from Conway the Machine, Logic and the late DMX, among others.

The rapper/singer also recently dished on his relationship with Eminem and how he eventually came to understand Slim Shady’s caginess around new people.

“Getting on the phone with him, you can probably hop on the phone quicker with Barack [Obama] than you can hop on the phone with Marshall. That n-gga’s calling you from a line with his manager’s assistant who is calling you from a 1800 number and it’s like elevator music and, ‘Please hold, Marshall’s coming to the phone.’”

He continued: “You can’t have his number. Nobody has his number. He’s not accessible. You can’t talk to him. It’s like hopping on the phone with the president.”

Eminem previously named Joyner Lucas one of his favorite rappers alongside the likes of JAY-Z, Nas, Big Daddy Kane, Kool G Rap, Royce Da 5’9″, Rakim and Kendrick Lamar.

Responding to the high praise, Lucas said: “If you played ball and studied Michael Jordan as the greatest, and then Michael Jordan name drops you as one of the greatest ball players of all time. That’s how this feels to me.”
