Joey Bada$$ has dropped the official video for his newest single, “Fallin,” and the Brooklyn native is proving the sky’s the limit when it comes to his talent.
The Oscar winner takes a sexier approach to his musical style, opening up the track with a head-nodding bass line complemented by silk-smooth drums before Joey flexes his vocal range with echoing melodies.

He further explores the trials and tribulations of falling in love — or getting busy between the sheets — with such lyrics as: “It was lovе at the first time you let me hit it raw/ If I shine, then we both shine, but let you shine more/ Go above, beyond for her, my machete mi amore/ Fuck who you was with before.”

Last July, Joey Bada$$ dropped his super successful third studio album, 2000, which was a follow-up to the equally super-smash hit 1999.
But fans who can’t get enough of the “Christ Conscious” rapper — especially as he rides the wave of his comeback — will be pleased to know that he’s “knee-deep” into his next album — even though there’s no official release date as of yet.

Joey was on Instagram Live last month and said that while fans shouldn’t “get their hopes up,” he wanted them to know a new project was already in the works.
“Yes, I am actively knee-deep in working on my new album, and I’m trying to get it to y’all as soon as possible,” he said to the camera. “I ain’t gonna say no dates cause I don’t wanna let you muthafuckas down and get y’all hopes up but I am working on it.”
Joey most recently appeared as a guest on Ab-Soul’s 2022 album, Herbert, as well as Logic’s College Park, which dropped in February. He also just dropped off the music video to his single “Show Me,” which features a cozy appearance from his rumored girlfriend Serayah.
Serayah kept the rumors afloat after she revealed on Instagram Live that she was no longer dating actor Jacob Latimore.

“No I am not,” the 27-year-old said in response to a fan asking about the status of their relationship. “I’m not anymore. I am not, I am not, I am not.”
She continued in response to fans reacting to the break-up news: “I want y’all to be easy ‘cause let me say something. It’s so easy to get on a platform and start talking shit, so I’m just saying simmer down. That’s it.”
