Joe Budden has expressed his dismay at Drake and Rick Ross‘ apparent falling out, which came to light when the MMG mogul unfollowed the 6 God on Instagram.
Drizzy and Rozay had been longtime friends and collaborators but things appear to have gone south recently after the latter appeared on Future and Metro Boomin‘s joint album We Don’t Trust You.

Talking about the rumored rift on his podcast, Budden said: “What I will say I’m angry at — because I don’t have a dog in the [fight] — but that Rick Ross unfollow hurt my soul and spirit. That one hurt.
“I wasn’t the biggest fan of What A Time to Be Alive so who cares if Drake and Future never record again in my book. If Rick Ross and Drake are not rapping together no more, this hurts. This is impactful. No more ‘[Aston Martin] Music’?”
While it’s unclear why Rick Ross unfollowed Drake on Instagram, fans have speculated that it had something to do with a tweet from Metro Boomin urging people to “pick a side” following the release of We Don’t Trust You.
Rozay has a guest verse on the album, which contains numerous shots at Drake — most notably from longtime rival Kendrick Lamar on the chart-topping single “Like That.”

Days later, Ross’ ex-girlfriend Cristina Mackey was given the VIP treatment at a Drake show in what appeared to be a calculated — and personal — comeback.
Mackey, who broke up with Ross just weeks ago, shared pictures online of an OVO-branded envelope that contained tickets for her and her friends.
The “Hustlin'” rapper seemingly hit back by filming himself listening to Kendrick’s diss verse on “Like That” while riding around in one of his many supercars.
It’s unclear what could have caused their apparent falling out after a prolific working relationship that dates back over a decade.

Drake and Rick Ross even managed to still be close when Drizzy was feuding with Meek Mill, who is signed to Rozay’s Maybach Music Group label and has a longtime friendship with his label boss.
Neither Drake nor Ross have directly addressed the speculation.
