Joe Budden has issued a response to Adam22 after the No Jumper founder dissed him while making his rap debut.

Adam, who is not known for his rapping ability, participated in a cypher uploaded to his YouTube channel on Wednesday (September 4), with his lengthy verse containing shots at rival podcaster Budden.

“‘Pump It Up’ the last time I heard Joe rap / That old ass throwback finally got his gold plaque,” Adam22 raps, referencing the former Slaughterhouse rapper receiving a gold RIAA plaque commemorating 500,000 sales of his breakout 2003 hit.

He later spits: “No cap, if I’d have seen you at Starlets, you’d get your soul smacked […] You is only podcasting ’cause you got no other option.”

Budden offered a couple of short and succinct responses on X (formerly Twitter), first reacting to a clip of Adam22’s freestyle with “Lol,” before following up with: “Adam aside, it’s tough out here for a lot of folks… do everything you can.”

Joe Budden and Adam22 have had issues in the past, with the “Pump It Up” hitmaker once confronting the podcaster and adult film star over allegations he had been with underage girls.

Adam was a guest on Budden’s Conversation Lovers Only last year when the former rapper questioned him about a relationship he allegedly had with a 16-year-old girl when he was in his 20s.

Budden said to him: “You said the girl was from wherever she was from, she didn’t know what she was doing, but you knew what you were doing. You said, ‘I knew what I was doing, so I got away from her.’

“Well… you didn’t get away from her if, by the grace of God, she ends up back in your life now that she’s of age, you’re spending the night at her fuckin’ mom’s house. What type of white boy pervert shit… what are you talkin’ about?”

Adam denied that he did anything wrong, replying: “What is the pervert shit about dating somebody once they are legal and of age? Joe, I didn’t say a word to her for like three and a half years, and I mean that. It’s just, we just sorta ended up … I didn’t wait for anything, we just ended up reconnecting later on.

“So because I met her when she was underage, I shouldn’t have fucked her even though she’s of age? Well, in retrospect I wish I woulda taken that advice, it woulda made everything a lot simpler, right?”

The pair clashed again earlier this year when Adam22 claimed that Budden doesn’t belong in the “big three” of Hip Hop media.

The No Jumper host then escalated the feud by posting a video of himself partying at the NYC strip club Starlets as Lil B’s Budden diss song “T-Shirts & Budden” blasted through the speakers.

“Going to your opp’s home strip club and playing the most disrespectful diss track ever made about them is nasty work,” Adam taunted on X.
