JELEEL! suffered a horrific accident at a Nitro Circus event over the weekend, where he plunged off the top of a 40-foot ramp.
The 2023 HipHopDX Rising Star was a guest performer at the stunt group’s event in Anaheim, California on Sunday (October 29) as part of their 20th anniversary tour.

The Rhode Island-bred rapper attempted to ride down the “Mega Ramp” on a tricycle, but ended up veering off the side of the ramp and crash landing on the hard floor.
Gasps of shock and horror could be heard from the crowd, with even the arena’s announcer exclaiming: “Holy cow!”

Fortunately (and miraculously), JELEEL! was okay and escaped largely unscathed. He later took to Instagram to inform fans that he was “good” and had “walked out [of] the hospital with a few stitches.”
He also shared a bare-chested selfie showcasing his injuries, which included a busted lip, a swollen eye and large scratches across his rib cage.
In a separate post on X, the hulking 28-year-old joked: “Y’all know I’m a superhero c’mon now.”
JELEEL! is known for his daredevil athleticism and high-energy performances, often climbing stage apparatus and pulling off insane flips during shows.
In an interview with GRAMMY.com earlier this year, he likened his aesthetic to “Monster Energy. You know, Nitro Circus, Jeff Hardy-esque, early 2000s WWE aesthetic.
“It’s very Y2K, but I like that extreme stuff,” he said. “A lot of artists now are doing the Y2K punk aesthetic — all black — but I’m more like electric green.”
JELEEL! built a following in 2021 thanks to his breakout hit “Dive In!” and released his debut album Real Raw! this past May. The 17-track project boasted appearances from Denzel Curry and Ty Dolla $ign, among others.
