Jadakiss fans are rejoicing after the legendary rhymer announced that he’ll be dropping two solo albums in 2023 — with a possible LOX album on the way as well.
Stopping by Sway’s Universe on Tuesday (April 11), Kiss revealed that in addition to his many other endeavors – including the new podcast he was there to promote – he’ll be releasing music at a high clip this year.

“I’m still the Samurai,” he began. “I’ma drop two projects this year, maybe three. A LOX joint and definitely two Kiss joints — fulfill my Def Jam contact and then do some other lucrative business that’s mainly beneficial for me. I think that’s what it’s about.”

Fans may get to see Jadakiss on the Verzuz stage again sometime soon, as he recently accepted Jim Jones’ offer for a rematch between Dipset and The LOX.
“I would love to run it back, you know what I mean?” Kiss said in response. “Why not? For sure.”
Kiss’ comments come after Jones threw down the gauntlet in an interview with AllHipHop last month, saying he wants the potential rematch to be held inside New York’s Madison Square Garden proper.
Capo also admitted that Dipset weren’t fully prepared for their initial battle against Jadakiss, Styles P and Sheek Louch in August 2021, which saw the Yonkers trio beat his Harlem crew in bruising fashion. However, he’s confident the outcome will be very different second time round.

“I don’t think that energy will ever be duplicated outside of New York unless we go for the rematch, you heard?” he said. “Last time, there was a lot going on. The venue was way too small. There were people on my back. There were people on people’s shoulders in there.
“I think we need proper respect of doing it in the Garden, the big Garden, with proper security, set up right so everybody have breathing room. Not using it as no excuse, but we need a rematch for the city. I’m puttin’ it out there like Rocky after he lost to Apollo Creed … And we gonna be ready like hot spaghetti.”
