Jack Harlow has responded to Machine Gun Kelly‘s “Renegade Freestyle” diss, in which he accused the Louisville rhymer of biting Drake‘s flow.
Speaking on the Rap Radar Podcast, the “First Class” hitmaker said he was aware that MGK had demanded he give Drizzy “his flow back” in the freestyle, as well as the wider backlash to his song “They Don’t Love It” — on which he claimed to be “the hardest white boy” since Eminem.

“How do you take it in? I guess you just fucking take it,” Harlow said. “Everyone’s entitled to their own opinion, and I feel great about what I said, and I feel great about the reaction. It just is what it is.”
He added: “It was a stream-of-consciousness sort of verse. Not that I don’t stand on my statement. I’m an MC! I’m talking my shit. This is not a new concept to feel yourself. I feel no reservations about what was said at all.”
Despite having reinvented himself as pop-punk superstar in recent years, Machine Gun Kelly served up some scathing bars for Missionary Jack in the aforementioned freestyle.
“Make sure there’s no confusions/ I’m a great white, I can eat these barracudas/ See who I am? You’re stupid, it’s nice to meet you/ I just put this hole in the ground for you like a soccer cleat shoe/ I see why they call you Jackman, you jacked man’s whole swag/ Give Drake his flow back, man, I eat rappers like Pac-Man,” he rapped.

Coincidentally, MGK chose to rap over “Renegade,” which was produced by Eminem and Luis Resto and appeared on JAY-Z’s 2001 classic The Blueprint.
The internet had a lot to say about Jack Harlow’s braggadocious bars on his latest album Jackman, where he raps: “The hardest white boy since the one who rapped about vomit and sweaters.”

“No way Jack Harlow just said he’s better than Eminem. I’m off the Jack Harlow train bro,” one user wrote on Twitter — even though Harlow’s bars don’t hear him say he’s “better” than Slim Shady.
Another added: “Jack harlow not better than eminem btw.”
Others applauded Jack’s confidence, with one user noting the line was a “crazy ass thing to say but gotta respect it.”
“Jack Harlow said he’s better than Eminem on track 2 can’t wait to see where it goes from here,” another fan wrote, while another argued that Jack Harlow was “this generation’s Eminem.”

The lyric was in reference to Em’s diamond-certified hit “Lose Yourself,” where he raps: “His palms are sweaty, knees weak, arms are heavy/ There’s vomit on his sweater already, mom’s spaghetti.”
Released inn April, Jackman served as the follow-up to Harlow’s 2022 album Come Home the Kids Miss You, which debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 and earned a Grammy nomination for Best Rap Album.
