The New York Daily News reports cosmetologist Roxanna Floyd and Susan Moses are suing Queen Latifah for $1 million. The pair of Brooklyn women filed separate lawsuits in Manhattan Federal Court on March 30. Moses alleges the rapper, actor and entrepreneur promised her a $50,000 annual salary for working on her Curvation line of intimate wear for full-figured women, and is now due $300,000. Floyd, who previously served as a consultant for Latifah‘s CoverGirl line of cosmetics, says she is owed $700,000 for her services.

“Despite such demands and assurances as well as expressions of remorse for having stiffed plaintiff …defendants have completely failed to pay plaintiff for her services and…expenses relating to Curvations,”Moses‘ lawyer, Carmen Giordano stated in official court papers.

Queen Latifah‘s spokesman, Amanda Silverman, refused to comment on the suits, calling both of them “without merit.”
