The clip finds the late Florida native addressing his critics, who “invest their pointless little lives into talking shit on the internet,” while praising his fans for riding with him in the face of controversy.
“My fans and myself are fucking awesome,” he says. “An X fan, they’re going to have my back no matter what. Do I think I’m a good person? Yeah.”

Elsewhere in the trailer, X eerily predicts his meteoric rise and tragic demise: “As far as permanently judging me? A fucking year from now all of these people will be worshipping me… if I don’t die. Let’s hope I don’t die.”
In His Own Words: XXXTENTACION will be released on November 22 and serve as a “bonus” film to his aforementioned Hulu documentary, which will be available internationally for the first time on the same day. Pre-orders for both films are available on Altavod.com.
XXXTENTACION (real name Jahseh Onfroy) was shot and killed during a robbery outside a motorsports dealership in Deerfield Beach, Florida in June 2018. He was just 20 years old at the time of his death, yet had amassed a large and devoted following thanks to his musical output.
X’s last full-length project, Look at Me: The Album, arrived posthumously in June as a companion piece to his Hulu documentary. Featuring appearances from Kanye West and Ski Mask the Slump God, the mostly compilation album debuted at No. 17 on the Billboard 200.
