During a sitdown on My Expert Opinion with Math Hoffa, 21 Savage shared his thoughts on the ongoing beef between Lil Durk and NBA YoungBoy.

The Atlanta lyricist has previously worked with both artists. He worked with NBA YoungBoy on his 2016 “Murder” track, and linked up with Durkio for his 2019 song “Die Slow.” They also joined up on Nardo Wick’s “Who Want Smoke?” remix. Regardless, when asked if he’s assisted in trying to quell the disdain between YoungBoy and Durk, Savage said he wasn’t touching their feud.

“Nah, Hell Nah,” Savage said. “Certain shit you can’t even…you don’t try. Certain shit, you just know…ain’t no trying.”

While the feud between YoungBoy and Durk has cooled these past few months, it all began in February when Durk took shots at the Baton Rouge rhymer on his track “AHHH HA.” YoungBoy returned fire with “I Hate YoungBoy,” a scathing diss track that found the 22-year-old taking shots at Durk and his fiancée India Royale.

“Why you drop that whack-ass song? Pussy bitch, you shoulda known,” YoungBoy spits referring to Durk’s 7220 cut. He also responded to Durk’s dig at his ex-girlfriend Jania Meshell in the song. “Bitch, don’t bring my baby momma up, she richer than your n-ggas.”

Elsewhere YoungBoy even calls out Gucci Mane by saying he used to “fuck with” Gucci Mane before he saw he was tight with “pussy n-ggas,” referring to Durk.
