New York, NY

50 Cent is one of the most famous figures in Hip Hop and the entertainment industry, so when he makes an appearance, all eyes are glued to him and his every move. On Tuesday (March 29), 50 attended Tony Yayo‘s birthday party at Atlantis New York, and there were rumors circulating that the G-Unit general got robbed.

It appears The Shade Room attempted to get to the bottom of the story by messaging people who attended the party asking for information. When 50 Cent caught wind of this, the Power mogul put the news outlet on blast while rubbishing the rumors.

“The shaderoom must have a slow news day today making up shit,” he wrote in a since-deleted Instagram post while sharing a screenshot of one of The Shade Room‘s messages. “You would have heard somebody got man down out there fool. I’m tapped in, I even get your little messages Smh.”

In a second post (which has also since been deleted) he added, “This is the kinda shit they are doing, stop sending people this kinda shit. TF wrong with you.”

While these last rumors appear to be false, 50 Cent was the victim of a robbery last year. In January, three men broke into a leased corporate apartment for one of his businesses and stole $3 million worth of cash and jewelry.

After a 5-month investigation, the culprits were finally tracked down and slapped with multiple charges included burglary, conspiracy to commit burglary, receiving stolen property and criminal mischief.

These days, 50 Cent is always prepared. Last week the “How to Rob” rapper shared his knowledge of security protocol when he schooled BMF star and actor Lil Meech on what to do when wearing his expensive jewelry in public.

“Don’t be walking around with this shit by yourself,” he warned Lil Meech before adding, “This should come with a Draco.”
