While Kanye West was reportedly removed from consideration for performing at the 2022 Grammy Awards earlier in March, the Recording Academy might be having a change of heart.
According to HitsDailyDouble, Kanye is one of many artists still in talks with the Grammy Awards to be a late addition to the lineup of performers for Sunday (April 3).
In addition to Yeezy, other stars under consideration include Taylor Swift, Justin Bieber and Lady Gaga. The lineup already features performances from the likes of Nas, Lil Nas X, Jack Harlow, Silk Sonic, John Legend, J Balvin, BTS, Foo Fighters, Carrie Underwood and more.
Variety previously reported that Kanye had been removed from the lineup due to “concerning online behavior” which saw him target host Trevor Noah, Kim Kardashian, D.L. Hughley, Pete Davidson and resulted in him being banned from Instagram for 24 hours.

However, since the temporary suspension, Kanye has been on his best behavior and has gone silent on all of his social media accounts for the last 10 days.
Kanye West has 22 Grammy Award wins to his name and is up for a handful more with five total nominations at the 64th annual ceremony, including Donda being on the ballot for Album of the Year. He last performed at the award show in 2015 alongside Rihanna and Paul McCartney.
A decision is expected by the weekend and tune into the Grammy Awards on Sunday (April 3) at 8 p.m. ET which will be taking place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.
