“This mixtape is crazy different than anything I’ve ever done,” he tells a crowd. “That’s what I usually say before I put anything out… It’s a different kind of project. It’s deep and I talk a lot of stuff on here and I say a lot of meaningful things… For the first time, I stopped thinking about what music I should make and just how to say what I wanted to say.”

Macadelic features star-studded assists from Lil Wayne, Kendrick Lamar, Joey Badass, Camron, Juicy J, Sir Michael Rocks and more. The mixtape eventually landed on streaming services just months prior to Mac’s death in May of 2018.
