The person behind the Jumbotron at Los Angeles’ SoFi Stadium was apparently having an off day. During Sunday’s (January 30) NFL Championship Game between the Los Angeles Rams and San Francisco 49ers, Big Sean and on-again, off-again girlfriend Jhené Aiko were spotted in the crowd.
But somehow, they wound up being identified as I Know What You Did Last Summer actors Sarah Michelle Gellar and husband Freddie Prinze Jr. There they were, innocently enjoying the game, when the Jumbotron operator put Prinze’s name under Aiko’s face and Gellar’s name under Big Sean, providing an awkward yet funny moment.
But both Gellar and Prinze were evidently entertained by the mix-up. Shortly after the flub, Gellar shared a selfie of herself and Prinze to Instagram alongside the Jumbotron jumble.
“@bigsean do you get mistaken for me as often as I get mistaken for you?” she wrote in the caption. “(Swipe right to see my actual date at the #ramshouse).”

Big Sean and Jhené Aiko have been romantically linked since 2016, but rumors of the couple’s split started to make the rounds in November 2018 when her giant Sean Don tattoo was noticeably covered up. Aiko addressed the mystery on Twitter but didn’t exactly confirm their relationship was on or off.
“i covered ALL my tats w/ a big ass Dragon w/ a Phoenix wing breathing life and light into a new galaxy,” she wrote at the time. “NEW ART! NO BEEF! ALL LOVE!”
But they eventually started popping up in public again, proving they were very much an item. Earlier this month, the couple told Ebro In The Morning a TWENTY88 sequel was potentially in the works.

“I think so,” Sean said when asked if another project from the duo was on the way. “I remember when I was playing [Time In] for Jay Electronica that was like his favorite song, he like asked to hear that one back to back. Collab’ing with [Jhené] is like one of the easiest things ever, you know? When we both are in a mood, you know? Cause when you in a relationship too sometimes you can be irritated with each other.”
