Just when it looked like The Weeknd was going to take the Billboard 200 crown this week with Dawn FM, Gunna has managed to steal his shine. On Monday (January 17), Billboard tweeted the official numbers from MRC Data and revealed DS4Ever made its debut in the No. 1 spot, marking his second consecutive chart-topper following 2020’s Wunna.
“@1GunnaGunna’s ‘DS4Ever’ officially debuts at No. 1 on this week’s #Billboard200 chart with 150,300 equivalent album units, according to MRC Data,” the tweet read. “It earns him his second career No. 1 album, after ‘Wunna’ in 2020.”
Released on January 7, the 19-track DS4Ever album featured collaborations with 21 Savage, Chris Brown, Future, Lil Baby, Roddy Ricch and Young Thug, among others.
Of DS4Ever’s 150,300 total album-equivalent album units, SEA units comprise 144,600 (equaling 193.5 million on-demand official streams of the set’s songs in its first week, making it the most-streamed album of the week), album sales comprise 4,700 and TEA units comprise 1,000.

DS4EVER was predicted to land at No. 2 this week — but only by a tiny margin. On Sunday (January 16), Hits Daily Double reported Dawn FM would settle at No. 1 with an estimated 154,000 total album-equivalent units earned, which would’ve served as The Weeknd’s fourth consecutive No. 1 album following 2015’s Beauty Behind The Madness, 2016’s Starboy and 2020’s After Hours.
