DaniLeigh took to Twitter on Monday (January 17) to reveal she and her baby have both caught the Rona.
“My baby and I have COVID we’re ok and will be ok,” the singer tweeted. “Appreciate prayers stay masked up and inside y’all.”
The announcement comes after the 27-year-old closed out 2021 with a string of unfortunate events. In December 2021, her mother Vicky Curiel, who was also her manager, announced she would no longer represent her daughter.
“I’ve taken this time to love myself, focus on myself, and reflecting on the fact that I’ve been living for others and not myself,” Curiel explained in a post. “Today, tomorrow, and for the rest of my life, I come first. You have to love yourself first before you can love anyone else. I didn’t know that. I thank God for this opportunity & I look forward to my new life.”

DaniLeigh also posted she was “looking for an amazing manager” and “praying for guidance.”
The departure of DaniLeigh’s manager followed a public spat with her daughter’s father DaBaby last November. Just days after she supported the North Carolina rapper’s Back On My Baby Jesus Shit Again EP, a fight erupted between the couple on social media, with DaBaby reportedly kicking the “Easy” crooner and their three-month-old daughter out of his house.
During the dispute, DaBaby began recording the exchange on DaniLeigh’s phone. In the video, she can be seen feeding their newborn baby in bed as the pair insult each other. The “ROCKSTAR” rapper later said on Instagram he recorded the fight out of fear of his safety, accusing the mother of his child of making “multiple threats of setting up [an] internet scheme” and “refusing to not let me go.”

DaniLeigh refuted the claims, saying in her own Instagram Story the argument escalated over a Plan B morning-after pill.
“This all goes to say that this man is a fucking coward !!!!!” she added. “Fuck u Baby!!! And damn I really shoulda jus listened to the cap ass internet about this man!!! … And Im sorry to my baby that her father is kicking her out her home at 3 months.”
DaBaby hasn’t commented yet on DaniLeigh’s COVID status, but he dropped his latest song “Sneaky Link” on Sunday (January 16), which fans have heavily criticized on Twitter,
