Paper Route Empire is still reeling from Young Dolph’s tragic death in November 2021, but they’re keeping his memory alive in so many ways through Instagram posts, local memorials and more. However, there’s a plan to memorialize their fallen boss through music.

On Monday (January 10), Paper Route Empire announced they would be dropping Paper Route Empire Presents: Long Live Dolph, a compilation mixtape dedicated to the memory of PRE’s co-founder and CEO. The mixtape will be unleashed on January 21 and will feature songs from artists on the PRE roster including Key Glock, Jay Fizzle, Snupe Bandz, Big Moochie Grape, Kenny Muney and more.

The company got things going with the first single off the tape titled “Long Live Dolph” by the label’s longest-tenured artist Jay Fizzle. The track finds Fizzle speaking on his mentor and the lessons he learned under his wing that he’ll hold dear to him.

“Got your face tatted on my back cause you always had me regardless/You took me out the ‘partments and since then I ain’t been starving,” Fizzle rapped.

The announcement comes days after the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation said they were on the hunt for 23-year-old Justin Johnson, who they believe is responsible for the murder. Johnson addressed the allegations on Instagram, saying he would turn himself in yet proclaiming his innocence.
