Quality Control Music is looking to expand its empire. After launching QC Sports in 2019, co-founders Pierre “Pee” Thomas and Kevin “Coach K” Lee officially launched a basketball division on Monday (December 6) under the Quality Control Sports umbrella, according to ESPN‘s Marc J. Spears.

“QC Sports, a sister company of Quality Control Music, has launched its QC Sports Basketball Division,” he wrote. “Long-time NBA agent Derrick Powell was named Global Head of Basketball of QC Sports.”

Powell, a Hampton University graduate, represents numerous players including Cleveland Cavaliers center Jarrett Allen who inked a $100 million deal over the summer.

Executives Pee and Coach K publicly announced the launch of QC Sports in June with a full-service football division. Tramiel “Twin” Clark currently serves as President of QC Sports.
