As the saying goes, happy wife, happy life. Chance The Rapper stepped into The Same Room on Wednesday (November 17) and dished out some relationship advice when it comes to seeking the right partner.

“You definitely want someone that’s kind, that’s patient, you want somebody that’s loving and somebody you believe you could spend the rest of your life with,” Chance said. “But is anybody all of these things all the time ever? No. Is the person that’s asking for all those things? No.”

He added, “I think we’re on a life journey and along that life journey, you find people that hopefully align with your goals and make you want to be better and make you want to try harder.”

Chance The Rapper went on to explain how he believes God chooses our wife or husband for us, before debunking the “dream girl” and “dream boy” phenomenon by saying “they don’t exist.”

We just are who we are and we make decisions to try to be better,” he said. “The main things somebody should be looking for, if you’re Black and a man of God and you want children, then you should find yourself a Black woman who loves God and wants children, and everything else will fall into place.”

The Chicago native’s outlook on relationships got a co-sign from “Whole Lotta Money” star BIA, who left three clapping hands emojis underneath the video on the The Shade Room’s Instagram post.
