Eminem confirmed he had a collaborative single on the way with Mozzy, Polo G and singer Skylar Grey called “Last One Standing” earlier this week that will live on the Venom: Let There Be Carnage soundtrack.
“I’m back with @VenomMovie and this time I’ve brought some friends for the carnage,” he wrote on Wednesday (September 29) alongside a short snippet of the track. “New song for the film w/ @skylargrey @Polo_Capalot @MozzyThaMotive out tonight at midnight.”
Like clockwork, “Last One Standing” arrived at midnight ET on Thursday (September 30) and found all three rappers exchanging potent bars over ominous production as Grey sings along.
The track is billed as a Skylar Grey song — not part of the Marshall Mathers LP III fans had hoped it would be. Rumors of the impending project stemmed from an Eminem Reddit thread, which pieced together several clues.

For starters, producer Fredwreck shared an image of Eminem’s childhood home to his Instagram Stories, the same image used for the original Marshall Mathers LP cover art. He also posted a picture of a building with an address number of 1001 on his Instagram Story as well, suggesting a release date of Friday (October 1).
Skylar Grey also shared an ominous Instagram post with the caption, “This month has been hellish… but I see the light at the end… can’t wait for October 1st… mark your calendar.”
That brought Stans to the film itself. Venom: Let There Be Carnage was originally expected to arrive on October 15, but the release date was bumped up to October 1 with no explanation. Turns out, they were partially right.

Eminem already contributed the song “Venom” to the 2018 original, which appeared on the film’s official soundtrack and Kamikaze.
