HipHopDX Rising Star Blxst is having a hell of a run in 2021, and he’s it even better by partnering up with his label in a major way. On Wednesday (September 22), Red Bull Records announced that Blxst has signed a worldwide partnership deal.

The deal allows Red Bull Records to release new music from Blxst, and in return, the label will work with Blxst’s company Evgle to facilitate new artist signings and develop rising talent. The deal will also see Red Bull Records drop Blxst’s highly anticipated full-length album slated to arrive in 2022.

“Everything we’re building at Evgle centers around innovation, family, and community,” Blxst said in a statement. “As I enter the next phase of my career as an Artist and Business Owner, I’m excited to continue our partnership with Red Bull Records, a company that has supported my vision.”

Blxst first teamed up with Red Bull Records to release his solo debut EP No Love Lost. The deluxe edition produced the hit single “Chosen” featuring Ty Dolla $ign and Tyga, which grabbed over 150 million streams in less than a year.

“Blxst has established himself as a groundbreaking international artist through his visionary sound and an unrivaled dedication to his craft, and we look forward to amplifying this next chapter of his career alongside Evgle,” Greg Hammer, Red Bull Records’ Managing Director, said. “Our SVP / Head of A&R, Kenny Salcido, and our VP of A&R, Charles Burks III, were passionately involved in the project from the beginning, and have been instrumental in the continuation of this partnership.”

Evgle’s president and Blxst’s manager, Victor Burnett, said, “Evgle is a company that is vertically integrated from the ground floor and built for the long run. Our fully staffed team has the ability to create, design, process, and operationalize at a high level, and with this extended partnership, we’re excited to take our operations to new heights in the music business and beyond.”
