Fans have been waiting for Swae Lee to drop a new project, and it looks like we’re getting somewhat close to that. The Rae Sremmurd rap star recently took a trip to SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, California, to film a new music video.
Some footage of Swae Lee getting some film work done inside the stadium made its rounds on social media. In the clips, fans can see Swae getting some fun in kicking a football through the field goal before heading into the player tunnel to film a scene. There’s no word on when this song will drop or where it’ll end up, but fans think the record will be on EA Sports’ upcoming Madden 22 video game.
Swae Lee may have taken a page out of his “Won’t Be Late” collaborator Drake’s book for this video. The 6 God rented out the 70,000 capacity SoFi Stadium for a night and hosted a celebratory dinner on the 50-yard line for his Artist of the Decade award. The Weeknd, Chris Brown, DJ Khaled, Doja Cat, SZA, his son Adonis and close family and friends were in attendance.

“He rented the entire stadium for the night,” a source close to the situation said. “The stadium has a gigantic banner with his name and ‘Artist of the Decade.’ There are huge champagne towers and several bars set up throughout the stadium. Drake also has cute album books featuring his favorite moments through his career set up around the stadium.”
SoFi Stadium serves as the home of the NFL’s Los Angeles Rams and Los Angeles Chargers after opening in September 2020.
