Snoop Dogg is set to bring his golden commentating skillset to one of the biggest stages in primetime sports television as he and Kevin Hart have been appointed to host a show recapping the Tokyo Olympic games.

According to a report from Deadline,Kevin Hart and Snoop Dogg are to helm Olympic Highlights, a feature, comedy recap commentary series for Peacock under the NBCUniversal umbrella.

Both Kevin and Snoop have also announced additional upcoming productions with the streaming media company including Snoop Dogg’s solo series based on clowning the world’s dumbest crooks, and their joint-venture comedy sports news show.

Over the course of the last year, Snoop Dogg has become an unlikely champion of live event commentary, notably winning over millions of viewers with his priceless narration of Nate Robinson’s viral knockout at the hands of Jake Paul during Mike Tyson and Roy Jones Jr.’s exhibition boxing match last November.

The Long Beach native actually put his stamp of approval on a tweet demanding a $15 million dollar bag for his services as a commentator following his legendary call of the bout.

Kevin Hart is also becoming known for how compelling he can be on the screen along with his talent for humor. While promoting his new Netflix movie Fatherhood, the comedic juggernaut slashed through Twitter on Tuesday (June 15) to clap back at all of the critics who claim “he isn’t funny” with a fierce tweet rant that saw him utilizing lyrics from J. Cole’s The Off Season album to fuel his remarks.

“The He’s not funny’ slander is the best….this is for you,” he began. “I have 3 stand up comedy specials that fall in the top 10 highest grossing comedy specials of all time….2 of my specials are in the top 3 of all time,” Kevin wrote in another tweet before finishing with the dagger. “J Cole said it best ‘If ur laughing at a millionaire the jokes on YOU,’” he wrote. “Now back to ur regularly scheduled program. Live love and laugh!!!!”
