TORONTO, ON

When Drake drops new music, the Hip Hop world stops spinning on its axis for the day. With all eyes on the 6 God, he returned with the sequel to his 2018 EP for Scary Hours 2on Friday (March 5) to hold fans over until Certified Lover Boy‘s arrival.

Drizzy also unleashed an accompanying visual to the opening track “What’s Next,” which is directed by his personal photographer Theo Skudra. The OVO boss lands in the 6 and traverses through snowy Toronto. He raps from the back of a drifting Mercedes Benz, in a train, makes a stop at the local aquarium and then reunites with 40 and the crew back at the penthouse.

On the EP’s Supah Mario-produced cut, Drake opens up about his romantic Valentine’s Day, chart success and how he’s carried the Young Money baton since Lil Wayne passed it to him a decade ago.

“Weezy had handed it off, I still got no fumbles/I’m on the hot one hundo, numero uno/This one ain’t come with a bundle/I’m in the Wynn, a million in chocolate chips/And that’s just how my cookie crumble,” he raps.
